Simply Smooth Xpress Keratin Treatment is a botanically based professional keratin smoothin service that removes curls up to 65% and will last up to 16 weeks. Can be repeated as often as 4 weeks, but recommended is 12 weeks.

Xpress can be applied directly after a color service. The process takes 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on density and can be shampooed as soon as 24 hours. Clients must maintain with Simply Smooth xtend maintenance system for best results. Vanillin &apple pulp infused. Vitamin enriched. Eliminates frizz up to 95%. Repairs damaged, keratin depleted hair. Directions:

Step 1: Shampoo hair gently with Simply Smooth Pre-Clean Purifying Shampoo. Shampoo 5 times for virgin, gray or resistant hair. Shampoo 4 times for color treated hair. Shampoo 3 times for highlighted hair. Leave product on hair for 30 seconds between shampooing (focus on washing hair and not scalp). For extremely resistant hair types, leave the last shampoo on, cover with cap, place under heat for 3-5 minutes. Rinse completely and proceed.

Step 2: Blow dry hair 100%

Step 3: Section hair into desired sections (be sure to wear gloves). Shake bottle well then begin the spray application using Simply Smooth Keratin Express. Using a comb, distribute product evenly through the hair.

Step 4: Over with a plastic cap and let sit for 15-20 minutes. Blow dry hair 100%. Avoid blowing hair towards clients eyes.

Step 5: Re-section hair. Beginning at the nape of the neck using 1/8 sections begin flat ironing the hair from the base to the ends with the temperature set between 400 degrees and 450 degrees. For normal hair, 450 degrees and for fine hair 430 degrees. For over processed hair, set as low as 375 degrees. Be sure to seal the keratin into the hair by repeating the smoothing process with the iron more than one time per strand. For virgin hair, apply the flat iron 5-7 times per section. For color treated hair, apply for 5 times per section. For highlighted hair apply 3-5 times per section. Work your way through each section of the hair without re-ironing previous sections. Look for shine, static and slip. Step 4 & 5 must be performed in a well ventilated area.

Step 6: Be sure to inform the client not to wet hair for a minimum of 24-72 hours to allow the hair to be transformed into the desired smooth and results.

Step 7: Be sure the client maintains the hair with Simply Smooth Xtend Keratin Replenishing products for optimum results.
